Bangalla, also known as Bengali and Bangolia, is a fictional African country that features in the Lee Falk created comic series The Phantom. Bangalla is the home of the Phantom, who resides in the Deep Woods of the jungle in the fabled Skull Cave. Maharastri or Maharastri Prakrit, SIL: Mahārāṣṭri Prākrit, is a language of ancient and medieval India which is the ancestor of Marathi, Konkani, Sinhala and the Maldivian language as well. It is one of the many languages (often called dialects) of a complex called Prakrit, and the chief Dramatic Prakrit. Maharashtri was spoken for 1000 years (500 BC to 500 AD). The black-tipped monarch (Monarcha loricatus) is a species of bird in the Monarchidae family. It is endemic to Indonesia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. The species occupy an area of larger than 20,000 km² and have a stable population of above 10,000, and thus is not considered as threatened.

The Bhairabi Temple is located on the outskirts Tezpur in Assam, India. The Goddess Durga is worshipped here. The backdrop of the temple is a view looking towards the Kolia Bhomora Setu across the Brahmaputra River. The temple site is also locally known as Maithan and Bhairabi Devalaya. Legend has it that Usha (daughter of mighty Asura King Banasura) regularly came here for the worshipping of the Goddess.

Shripad Mahadev Mate (1886-1957) was a Marathi writer from Maharashtra, India. Mate served for some years as a teacher at Nutan Marathi Vidyalaya and then as a professor at S. P. College, both in Pune. Himself belonging to the Brahmin class in Hinduism, Mate headed an Asprusya Niwarak Mandal (अस्पृश्य निवारक मंडळ) aimed at abolishing untouchability in traditional Hindu culture of his times.

Sanganer is a village situated 40 km south of Jaipur, the capital of Indian state of Rajasthan. The village is fighting for food and electricity. Also famous for handmade paper industry, textile printing and for Jain temples. Sanganer prints are one of its own kinds, for the reason that patterns in bright colors are always printed on white backgrounds. Sanganeri Hand block printing received the geographical indication (GI) tag in 2010.

Satya Mahima Dharma (the "dharma of the divine glory") is a religious tradition in Hinduism, from Orissa. It goes back to a historic person called Mahima Svama (or Mahima Gosain). He is said to have appeared in Puri in 1826. Dissatisfied with the ritualised idol worship of Lord Jagannath, he left Puri and travelled to the Kapilas hills near Dhenkanal, where he engaged himself in severe Yogic practices. In 1862, he became a siddha and started preaching a new dharma.
